Burgoyne Incorporated, part of the Burgoyne Group, is a distinguished practice of forensic scientists, engineers, and fire investigators specializing in the analysis of fires, explosions, engineering failures, and related catastrophic incidents. We also provide advice to clients on the avoidance of such hazardous events. Our organization provides expert witness services to the legal, insurance and commercial sectors.

We have offices in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. We operate around the world in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America and the Caribbean. We have associated offices in Europe and the Far East.

Our team of forensic scientists and engineers has a diverse background in chemistry, chemical and mechanical engineering and materials science. Our fire investigators draw from a breadth of experience in the fire service and law enforcement.

We have extensive experience analyzing incidents in land based situations, including refineries, chemical plants and the process industries generally, incidents at sea and those involving the aviation industry. Fire and explosion analysis and modeling constitutes a major portion of our work, followed by engineering investigations, advice on marine cargo losses, and chemical releases.

The Burgoyne Group celebrated its 40th Anniversary in 2008.
